Chinoiserie

Chinoiserie has always caught my eye; and I am finally studying it.  While I am at an early stage, I invite you to look at my studies here.  I am very pleased some pieceshave already sold.

I will have an exhibition at the wonderful Herne Bay gallery, last week in July 2026.

Here are recent studies  https://photos.app.goo.gl/2yAHJBT NKFyZryhU7

Newgrange:  Impressions from an ancient landscape is a collection of paintings and mixed media pieces by Suzanne Kelly, inspired by the neolithic Newgrange burial site and its enigmatic carved stones.  This was my most recent solo show at the wonderful Beach Creative Gallery in Herne Bay.  The last row of images above are some of the paintings that were on show.  Grateful to many people for the kind words, glad a few items sold.

Celtic coin motifs, the Newgrange site and its neolithic carvings inspired this work, as is true of many other paintings and some jewellery.  I have collected Celtic coins and Romano-British/Celtic jewellery for years; I find the pieces inspiring, magical.
